Questions

Common questions about Spaikz apps

Short, direct answers — including which app to pick for what you are trying to learn.

What is Spaikz?

Spaikz is an independent software company that builds small, focused apps — thirteen of them, covering SAT prep, vocabulary, English pronunciation, reading comprehension, handwriting, Victorian penmanship, spoken Spanish, audiobooks, soccer decision-making, youth soccer standings and predictions, college soccer ID camps, an arcade fishing game and full-page screenshots for AI chats.

Are Spaikz apps free?

NeoShoDo and LiteraChi are free on the App Store, and every Spaikz app is free to try in a web browser.

Which Spaikz app should I start with?

Pick by goal: Overprep for the SAT (Reading and Writing, and Math), VocabKuizu to drill vocabulary, LiteraChi to get through a hard text, NeoShoDo for handwriting, Victorian Correspondence to learn copperplate with a pointed pen, EoNeo to practise speaking Spanish, LinguaKata to see exactly how an English word is pronounced, AudioShu when you would rather listen than read, Pitch IQ to read the game better as a soccer player, Through Ball to follow youth soccer standings and playoff chances, ID Season to find college soccer ID camps, and Full Page Clip to capture a whole web page for an AI chat.

What is a good app for SAT practice?

Overprep covers both SAT sections, Reading and Writing and Math. It runs real adaptive sections, where module 1 decides whether module 2 is the easier or harder form, lets you drill all 30 tested skills one at a time, and explains every answer. It is free to start in your browser.

How can I study vocabulary with my own word list?

VocabKuizu lets you paste your own list instead of using a preset deck. SAT and GRE decks are built in, and you answer by tilting your phone rather than tapping.

Are Spaikz apps on iPhone and Android?

NeoShoDo is on both the App Store and Google Play. LiteraChi is on the App Store. VocabKuizu is on both the App Store and Google Play. LinguaKata, Overprep, Pitch IQ and Through Ball are on Google Play, with iPhone versions on the way. Spearfish Reef is on Google Play and coming to iPhone. The eleven web apps also run in any modern browser.

Do I need to install anything to try a Spaikz app?

No. Every app has a web version that opens in a browser and works immediately — the mobile apps are optional.

Who makes Spaikz apps?
